Name: Mary Lake Stevens, WA (Zone 8a) Near Seattle
Here in Seattle, this is an invasive plant. Once established, it grows tendrils out about 12 feet in all directions each year. In other places it is a nicer plant! I hate ivy. It pulled down our fence.
