I've been following this thread, Marilyn, thanks for including me. However . . . I'm in far Western Kentucky meaning I don't get the same weather as you do, not at all. I'm bordered by the Cumberland River, the Ohio, the Tennessee and to the West, the Mississippi. My weather and growing environment (zone 7a) is much like that of Oklahoma and the plains states, though we have the variety just as you do but all the rivers flowing around us sort of change the playing field and it's hard to place us anywhere. Very high humidity and summer droughts go hand in hand.

So I'll think about this and will likely plant myself in more than one Regional Forum. How's that? Smiling
