Less than a month ago I received the 3 bare root roses I ordered from Regan's.
2 of them (Pat Austin and Distant Drums) leafed out within 2 weeks and now have tiny flower buds on them. The other rose is a climber (Top of the World) and is growing normally with no buds yet.
I've never had bare root roses set flower buds so fast, so this is a first for me.
All 3 of these roses were very big plants when they arrived and in excellent shape with enormous root systems.
Should I cut off the buds and force the plants to produce more foliage or just let them bloom and do their thing ? What say you experts ?
