Personally, I think there are very, very few dogs that are actually dumb although I will admit I have run across a couple during the course of my lifetime. I think that there are ones who are labeled dumb but it is in fact because they have never been taught or haven't been taught correctly.


I agree

We're working diligently on retraining to fix some of my dumb mistakes right now, but having a smart and so very willing to please dog makes this go pretty quickly as well.
Down/Stay and Come-here-a-hustling are progressing very well, and they'll help immensely once they're solid; both indoors and out.
