They're not going to give him anything else either, unless the doctor changes her mind. DH's natural sleep responses were permanently disrupted due to years of war and PTSD...it's something very few have experienced. Actually, I was once sent something from a government agency about one of my own meds, saying that they recommended that it be changed...they weren't able to mandate it, just recommend. My doctor disagreed. There's a lot going on these days in the world of medicine that we don't understand. A lot of pressure is being exerted for various reasons by government, pharmaceutical companies and insurance companies on doctors. I sided with my doctor in that case, but don't always agree with him about everything.
