Something that you might think about trying ,is a "hooded" sprayer.....basically an inverted funnel, which covers the nozzle on the end of the spray wand. You place the "wide" part of the 'funnel" over the target weed, pull the trigger, and , that way, there is no *over spray*, or drift. Another tactic, in 'congested areas' is to apply the product , directly to the weed, with one of those "foam" paint brushes.
