When I lived overseas so many years ago, I got chilblains one winter...should have had thermals and warm socks on or something. Also, we had bedbugs. But frozen stuff in the kitchen! Oh no, couldn't handle that! Not. It didn't even get that cold the year of the ice storm/power outage out here!
