I have several of those mini greenhouses. I started some seeds in mine this year in a south facing window. A word of warning. They are NOT stable outside!! No matter how I tried to stabilize mine a windy day ALWAYS blew them around!!
You can always take the plastic cover off and just use it as shelving inside.
