I found an old small fan that had been discarded and noticed it had six blades - or whatever those things are called that cool. I disassembled the fan and bent every other blade up and the others down. I put it on a piece of rebar and put the rebar in the ground.

My metal iris. I thought about painting it but I kinda like it natural and its also fun to not notice it until you are right upon it.
