Thanks Sally! It seems all kinds of grass get into my beds too. I don't use any weed killer so they just flourish. My lawn is a sad state all summer long. Dandelions in May & June, Clover in June & July, and crabgrass for the rest of the year. This year I surrender and bought a bag of lawn fertilizer with crabgrass preventer. It is supposed to suppress weed seeds germination.
