I moved everything out of the GH in February - our unseasonal warm spell here in Central Texas just made it too much work to try to keep it cool. I sort of held my breath - because our last frost isn't usually until sometime in March. We had a few nights that went down to 38, but most of my plants can take that (lettuce, herbs and other greens -- and the dwarf mulberry and figs) -- I just threw some frost blankets over them just in case - and crossed my fingers. Fortunately everything did fine and I did not have to move back to the GH. Have packed up all my stuff in the GH for the season and put up some sun block fabric to protect my panels from the terrible summer heat that's coming soon.

@drdawg have you ever left your pool cover on the GH during the summer. I want to skip taking it down and hoped by covering the GH with the fabric that the panels won't deteriorate because of the pool cover magnifying heat ?
