Thumbs down Thumbs down Thumbs down Thumbs down on the hail. Even pea size can do a lot of damage. Depends on how thick and the time span of falling. Three minutes can seem really long. Some plants recover nicely, but it can't be good for them. Other plants will carry visible scars forever. I had a Sanseveria get peppered with small hail one summer. Initially it appeared unscathed. Then little white blemishes showed up where every little piece of ice hit and lasted the life of the leaves. Blooms and stalks that get damaged or eliminated are only a 'once a year' event. You wait a year to see it ruined. You can't get the time back. I really hate damaging weather of any kind. I'm sorry to hear about it any time.
