I am not a water person. When I was 5, I "drowned" in the river. I remember very well I went under and then the next thing they were beating on my chest and I was choking and throwing up water and it hurt so badly, my whole lungs burned. To be in a whole ocean is something that I don't even consider. Way too much water. I can be in a boat on the river with a life jacket but I have to be able to see the bank and it has to be calm.

I am using these new gloves called Foxgloves. They are interesting, like dress gloves. I am liking them because they have a tightness that my arthritis gloves have, my hands like them. They do not repel water but they are not uncomfortable to wear when wet. They keep your hands clean and are not clumsy, they are thin enough that you have good dexterity. I have just used them yesterday and do not know how long they will last, not a cheap glove. I got this pair wholesale to try and I think it was about $11 wholesale so if they do not last, thats no good. I will let you know how I do with them. I am always looking for good gloves. Either they wear out too fast, allow me to get slivers, are heavy and ackward, they just never seem to work well. What do you guys do for gloves?
