First thing for you to do is to go to your "Profile" and update it, given us your town/state and/or USDA zone. That will help with this question and other questions/answers you might post.
In general, if you have asparagus seedlings, that's the time to move them. When an asparagus plant is large/mature, they have such an extensive and deep root system, it is almost impossible to move them. Ask me how I know.
