Hi Mrs. Albuquerque, Welcome! to All Things Plants!

I agree that the plant looks to be in the Aroid family (Philodendron's, Aglaoneama, etc.) At the bottom of the photo, I see what appears to be a small, immature leaf and on the left a partial view of what appears to be a more mature leaf.

It might be impossible to get an exact name/ID without seeing a photo from a bit of distance, showing the entire plant and the mature leaves.
