We are experimenting with daylilies in my classroom, and many students have no plant experience. They can't quite grasp pollen-dabbing, so I felt that a hands on experience would be best:).

I divided a few clumps, potted a few fans and put them in the greenhouse in hopes of getting the blooming season started early enough that students could try their hand at forming a few pods Smiling

The first bloom was today. Quite ironic since today is the first day of spring break, so kids are out of school for the week!
