It is always interesting to compare notes. Sometimes I think it is fascinating that many of us (sometimes pushing zones a bit) grow the same thing, yet we have to treat it differently cause of where we are.

I am fairly active on a few plant groups on FB where the knowledge base is not as deep or broad as here.

Some guy from Nebraska asks about growing something and someone from Florida responds and the guy from NE says - wow thanks! I'll do that. More than once I have jumped in and said WHOA!!! and tried to intervene to prevent plant death. hehe

My best blooms last year were mid August when it is absolutely brutal here temp wise.
