These are Sarcoglottis sceptrodes, what I call the "Green Dragon Orchid". Someone posted the other day that their plants are deciduous and lose most of their leaves during winter. For some reason mine don't do so. These plants have all been in the solarium since November but I have an equal number of plants out in a greenhouse and they look the same. Most of my plants have inflo. Perhaps they'll lose their leaves before blooming but so far I see no evidence that they'll do so. I don't know why.

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.
