I took Tori to a friends who lives on the other side of the lake. Coming home I looked up and there was an eagle in a tree. It has been reported they sit in this tree but I have never been fortunate enough to see them there. So I decided I would go home grab my camera and come back. I was praying the whole time that it would sti;; be there. It was really just a matter of like 10 12 minutes for me to get back. Ad it was still there plus another one!! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

This is my first ever photo of a wild eagle! The adult was the one I saw initially. The juvenile arrived before I got back. It is rainy windy and dark here so not great but I am thrilled! Just taken within 30 minutes ago.

This is an awful shot, but we have a pair of Brown Thrashers now. Wanted to get both in the shot! Whistling
