Yes, I have thought all along that one of it's parents is Trahlyta. But because I don't have the actual label for it, I hate to tie a possible parent cultivar to it without being positive. And yes! I've also thought it might be a dip. I need to go back and look at my seeds to see if any crosses took on it last year and what the seedling crosses were. I had almost all seedlings last year except for a few registered daylilies that I was hybridizing with. I went hand-pollinating crazy last year and have so many seeds. I get lost in all the hybridizing and collecting seeds and forget details, so need to check my seed stash in the refrigerator! I am fairly positive that I got some seeds from it. The thing about it is how short it is. Maybe over time the scapes will get taller, but the foliage is short too. I love the foliage! Always looks good when everything else looks attacked by thrips, chewed by aphids, or spotted with rust.
What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters, compared to what lies within us.
