Yestersay I heard a song....and zoom....poof....I was YOUNG again! I could FEEL the Brooklyn streets under my feet...I could SMELL the crisp autumn...I swear ..my BODY felt like the young me.
Amazing how a tune can do that...transport back in time and all luggage left behind.
It was just a flash.. but I loved it.
You know two or three years back..I went to a Burt Bacharach concert in Raleigh. There was a sea of " white heads " in front of me...many had tears glistening on their cheeks. I think that most were " visiting" another time and place and I was looking at their bodies just 'holding their place' in present time until they could return.
