I can identify with your snail issues. The snails we have here in south Florida are voracious plant predators. Although I don't remember them being a problem with my Ti plants, they have certainly given me a lot of grief over the years.

I use snail bait occasionally, especially when I find snail damage but don't find the snails. My main means of control is regular midnight snail hunts, especially during the rainy season. I carry a flashlight, an old wide-mouth plastic jug about ΒΌ filled with salty water, and an old pair of scissor-action salad tongs for grabbing the snails.

Over the years I have greatly reduced the my snail problem, though I still have to be vigilant.
