I have been looking at those photos of your plants trying to figure out if they were diseased or pest damaged. At first I thought maybe the plants were growing in hard clay and they broke off the roots digging them up, But it looks more like some borer of some type might have been eating the roots. I would for sure ask to send them back, and if they do not replace them or give you your money back, post their name here so the rest of us can avoid them in the future. If you don't feel ok with that, at least t-mail me so I can avoid them.

Those are the tiniest plants I have ever seen shipped, maybe they have different expectations over there, it should keep shipping costs down for sure.
