You're welcome Christine. I think we are safe to say the ID is correct unless anyone else comes up with something to say it isn't.

The flower close-up showing the translucent (as opposed to green) base to the petals is great, along with all your other identifying features including the one showing a few long hairs on the stem (as opposed to adpressed). I think this thread will link to the entry? If so it gives the main pointers.

It's not only a pleasure to do this Lyn, it's my duty to all. Hilarious!
