I'm happy to report, there was very little damage done. The guy did a great job, he only crushed a clump of ditch lilies. He had no choice, it was the ditch lilies or our phone line. I have plenty of ditch lilies out by the ditch. The guy even swept the saw dust off of my Iris's. 
I wasted no time, thanking him and I slipped him a tip for the great job. He truly saved my husbands life.
