Pure peppermint oil on cotton balls around the house keep the house smelling fresh and also free of spiders and mice. Spiders and mice don't like the smell of peppermint and will go elsewhere. And it's also no toxic to animals if they were to get ahold of it. I just put some on a cottonball and put it in the bottom of garbage cans, corners behind furniture, fake plant arrangements ect. Try it. You'll be surprised!
