I tip my hat to you. I found the opinions of all to be very informative! Thanks to all who posted a reply!

Since we are on a discussion about foliage, I am hoping @sooby reads this post. I am seeing yellow leaves on most of my registered cultivars including my rust resistant daylily cultivars. I've checked the leaves and it is NOT rust on most of them. I can't find the link you shared with everyone that showed what a leaf looks like from thrip or aphid damage or spring sickness or any other ailment. Or .... do some of the leaves turn yellow like that in the Spring when new growth starts again? It is the outer leaves, not the newer leaves. I've never really paid any attention to the yellow leaves before, but now I have rust resistant cultivars and want to make sure it is not a pest or another disease taking a toll on my plants. If it is normal leaf life cycle, then I am relieved. If not, I need to take care of the problem ASAP. Thanks in advance for you help. I find your photos are very helpful when it comes to trying to determine an issue with the foliage.
