I think the main problem with GMOs is that they are not proven. At all. We do know that humans have evolved over the last few million years to eat certain types of foods that nourish our bodies. Food is information. That information is read by our DNA. If the information is garbage, then the food is read as garbage. When we buy something at the food store, we have a right to know that it is compatible with human DNA. GMOs aren't. Pesticides in the modified foods, of course, destroy microflora which are essential to human health. GMOs are a huge experiment that nobody consented to.
