Sounds reasonable!
I always place mine still potted up over the Winter into our frost free garage, together with a bunch of Epiphyllums and other stuff.
Right now I keep the garage door open during the day and close it at night. Once it gets warm enough, I will move everything onto the driveway in front of the garage and eventually into their Summer spots.
