@GrammaChar -- I don't think there is any way to "follow" an individual, the way you can on some sites. You can watch a thread, or a whole forum, using the "watch" links at the top and bottom of the page, and, as Daisy said, you can go to a member's page to see a list of posts they have made, as well as any articles and "ideas" that they may have contributed.
You might tree-mail the person you are interested in following and ask if they would mind saying what forums they regularly contribute to.
I think at this time we can give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are not a stalker
