Yes, I do on some that are in close range of paths. I have some on hillsides and what not that I will not bother with. Like most sedums it looks awful after blooming but recovers quickly after pinching back. Either way it will return to tight form but does it much faster after a good hair cut. You can also do it now and not let it bloom and concentrate and growth and roots.
