Hi Folks

As I am not getting any replies to my post, I guess I must have asked the wrong question.
What I am asking is this. When I store bulbs in a refrigerator, do I have to store the bulbs in a container with "soil" or can I store the bulbs loose and then put them in a container with soil after they have been cooling for the required time.

I planned to use my unheated garage this past winter to store my potted daffodils in a cold environment.
Of course our winter here was very warm and the daffodils started to bloom in early March.
For next years crop I have purchased a small refrigerator. My question is , do I have to pot my daffodils and tulips or can I just store the bulbs in bags in the refrigerator?

Thanks Brian
BN
