Annette, your landscape is just gorgeous!

I also wondered about Do Tell, looks like that first bloom may be what iris folks call a chimera - an oddling that sometimes occurs due to various environmental conditions.

LG, Athena is lovely- very special! How long have you grown it? Is it always the first hybrid herbaceous to bloom?
