I was warned that German Empress is a short lived Epi. and take cuttings. I have learned to believe that. Last year the leaves looked really ugly, and I did take cuttings. So far, this year only a few branches are blooming, but I have lots of healthy new growth. Unfortunately (maybe) I gave the rooted cutting, which was blooming, to a neighbor a couple of days ago. They have shared with me, and her husband liked the hanging baskets, as apposed to the ones they had in 5 Gal. buckets. I'm out of limbs to hang them on anyway. Whistling
