Following is the lazy cactus grower's method of watering! My leg edema has worsened considerably in recent months and I now can hardly stand unassisted at all. So this is how I tend to my plants these days. I started off growing cacti seventy six years ago -- just a few small potted plants on a windowsill -- and here is my present collection of small potted plants growing on a garden cart in our front entrance way. No more greenhouses or large container patio plants for me -- I can't walk the aisles, move the hoses or carry the pots!! But I am not complaining, in fact I am enjoying cultivating my cacti now more than I have for many years. As an old friend of mine points out, this is the way life itself works for all of us -- we start our journey with very little and we end it the same way. Smiling
