Thank you for the embrace. It's wonderful to be in the midst of like minded (plants) folks. I happened across this site and am totally blown away! Still trying to navigate my way around. This is very cool. Becoming very educated on the "real" name of some plants. It's almost like a new language for me. I love houseplants and also dabble in aquariums. Currently, I'm only doing tropical fish. I worked with cichlids for awhile but between taking of my plants and maintaining the tanks got to be a bit much. Nonetheless, I treat them like my babies, so I devote much time to plants at home and office and have downsized to just tropical fish. They are easier to maintain, but both the plants and the aquarium fish have to be nurtured as do all things living. I look forward to all of the aspects of this site.
