ABS is not bendable. I used 1/2 pvc to make the hoops over my raised beds and they bend nicely. I keep forgetting that I have a trellis I bought last summer at Lowe's. It was really cheap, about $50, but was the only one left and they wanted to get rid of it. I need to clean up the area where it goes then have my daughter help put it up. I think I need some rebar to pound into the ground to keep it in place (either slip the pipes over the rebar or lash it depending on how the tubes are made. I like your idea and wish I had seen it before purchasing what I did. I may make another one to your design for another spot in my yard. At the center of the arc bed out front would be great with sweet peas climbing over. Thanks so much for a neat and very simple project.
