Here is a pick of my mulberry roots. I do not recommend this tree. It was given to me and seeds itself everywhere. All the roots need to be removed when you cut them down or they come back. The berries are tasty though. I could not get a picture of the poke. We have had a lot of rain the past few days and the pasture they are growing in is a muddy mess.
