I'm really looking forward to seeing how some of these guys perform this year now that some have been in the ground going on 2-3 years. S. mexicana 'Colima' was about 10 ft tall in it's first year. I'm hoping it spreads into a good sized 'patch'...I'm happy that this particular gesneriiflora made it, as s. gesneriiflora 'Mt. Form', right next to it didn't live...go figure. Thankfully, I'd already taken cuttings last Fall.
I could be wrong...
