I am getting ready to ammend my new flower beds for my Daylily order and gift from Kay. Bought a bag of Alfalfa Pellets.. should I mix this pellets, dry, soaked it in water first or scattered on the top of the bed ? I am going to ammend my flower beds with raised bed/potting soil mixed, compost, mushroom compost, coarse/all purpose sand and black Kow/composted manure.... I also see that some people like to use Milorganite for their Daylily, considering what it was made from, I am a little concerned, so please my gardening friends, I need your advice and appreciate your help....
