Iris pseudacorus spreads like mad even in ordinary garden conditions, so I definitely wouldn't plant them if I lived in a wetland.

I think that I'd see if the seller would be willing to exchange them for something else less invasive and then use that for trading. We have a trading forum here, http://garden.org/forums/view/...

I'm sorry! I get so frustrated with myself when I do things like that, too. I'm sure that every gardener has done something similar at least once (but more likely many times!) Smiling
