If they get soaked now, would I need the 6 weeks of refrigeration before potting? 7 weeks out would put me potting them in early June. I wonder if that would be too late? New rhizomes get planted in late August/early September but are more hardy than the seedlings. If I pot them, I guess the real question is: is it okay to bring the pots inside during periods of really cold temps? I figure it would be best not to plant them in a garden bed until next spring.
