When I was in kindergarten a neighbor boy and I gathered rocks and colored them with crayons and sold them in the neighborhood for a quarter a piece. When my parents found out we had been selling them they made us take the money back. The people wouldn't take the money back so we went to the corner store and bought candy.
That was way before the "pet rocks."
