How would you divide a large geranium? I have one in a big pot, it's about 5 or 6 years old. It's currently in a 17" pot and it looks like it may have divided itself into 4 plants, but I would hate to kill it by cutting it apart. It's a constant bloomer with huge clusters of deep red flowers and the stalks are real thick. It's starting to look a bit ragged and I think it may be pot bound again, but I really don't want to go to a bigger pot. Anyone have any suggestions for this?
