Funny stuff! I've been just about everywhere in filthy work attire, goes with the job but I've had a few special moments.
Had an appointment with a new doc last week. Needed a new doc and this one came with great acclaims and a dear old friend actually called a referral for me to be accepted. I'm getting ready and considering "first impressions". Hmm? Rats nest of a ponytail on the back of my head, horseshoe mustache, and a 6" ponytail dangling from my chin, lol.
I chose my very best work boots (the ones I wear after work), a nice green button-down shirt, and a nice pair of jeans with my newest clean hat. Best I can muster. Everything is going good, I arrived with only a few minutes to spare. Paperwork and nurses duties done I get seated in a room. Looked down at my jeans and they were work jeans. Stained work jeans with a blown out knee!
Mind you I have a half-dozen pair of non-work jeans. You might guess how often I wear them?
