My Father cooked sorghum molasses when I was growing up. He cooked his own as well as surrounding farmers crop on the halves. He was fond of saying "A one legged man with a mule could plant more sorghum than everyone in the county could harvest." and he was right about that.
He used a continuous flow box pan to make the molasses rather than the kettle method. If there's any interest, I'll try to explain the method as I remember it. Claud
