Oh, we definitely are well into spring. According to my thermometers it gets as high as 70 during the day in the sun (not counting any slight breeze) and has held above freezing at night for two whole days. Hurray! I dug up a peony that I had planted in a really bad spot four years or so ago. Didn't see any buds but holy cow. The root mass was full of them. I broke/cut it into 7 plants each with 1 to 5 eyes. They are in pots in front of the garage. Not sure what I am going to do with them as I hardly have room for what I have much less what I have coming this fall. Guess the botanical garden will have some for their plant sale end of May. Chickweed going great. Thumbs down
