I find it strange that they were going with the improved plant. Because the last two I purchased have very little pink.
The first one I purchased years ago had a lot of pink in the leaves and it looked very nice with my pink Fairy Rose. When it died I purchased another 2 yrs ago it has very little pink. I purchased another one last year and again there is very little pink.
I think the retailer greed interrupted the plan of the breeders. I think the original was purchased from the sellers and they are still propagating from the plant that had less pink.
