It IS gorgeous, isn't it?!! Louise, Bravo!! I've admired this pic many times.

Please excuse the outside comment but I also love this plant and received mine as an unrooted cutting. I thought that might be a helpful anecdote within this discussion. Succulents lend themselves so excellently to traveling well that way, and need to callous (dry) before being propagated anyway. Takes care of 2 things at once. In the particular case of Euphorbias, cutting them the night before packing will work well. They'll drip for at least a few hours, which would be a mess in a box.

Be aware the sap has latex in it, which can give the unfortunate few who are sensitive to it a rash like poison ivy if the sap gets on skin. Avoiding contact with the sap would eliminate the risk getting a nasty surprise.
