I was hoping some of the more experienced seedling growers would jump in and answer your questions. I know from experience that my fans I purchase and plant do tend to improve in general over time: Stronger scapes, bigger blooms, more buds etc. So based on that I would have to assume the same thing would be true for seedlings, even more so. I would really love to see some feedback here on your questions by the true hybridizers who grow hundreds or even thousands of seedlings. I know the process is normally to grow the plants for at least three years and watch how they evolve over time. Still more specific information especially on bud count, and branching etc. would be very informative for the rest of us.
